The Hunger Games (2012)

Who else is super excited to watch this film? I read and followed the books for three years, and I think the film looks really promising. The cast, especially Jennifer Lawrence, looks like they'll be great. The trailers have been exciting. I just hope that my high expectations are not setting myself up for disappointment...That'd be sad. Either way I hope they stay true to the themes of the book, which are violence, oppression, and all that other dystopian stuff.

I'm so excited for this film, and I haven't even finished the book yet! I can tell from the trailer that it's sticking pretty close to the plot, which is always a good thing.

Josh Hutcherson wasn't that great in Bridge to Terabithia (but AnnaSophia Robb was worse), but he seems to be a great fit for Peeta. Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss is just great.
